Truth table - GCSE Computer Science Definition

A truth table is a tool used in computer science to show how different combinations of true and false values affect the outcome of a logical statement or operation. It lists all possible scenarios of inputs, often as "true" (T) or "false" (F), and shows the resulting output for each scenario. Truth tables are especially useful when dealing with logic gates or boolean algebra, which are key parts of computer science. By using a truth table, you can clearly see how a specific logic operation, like AND, OR, or NOT, works with different input values and predict the final result systematically.
