Month - GCSE Maths Definition

A month is a unit of time used in calendars, which is about 30 or 31 days long, except for February, which usually has 28 days but has 29 days in a leap year. There are 12 months in a year, and each one is part of dividing a year into smaller parts.
Months are important for keeping track of dates and understanding how long events last. When studying GCSE Maths, you might use months to work out the length of time between two dates, to calculate how many months are in certain periods, or to understand patterns in data over a year.
