Solar Energy - GCSE Geography Definition

Solar energy is the power we get from the sun's rays, which can be converted into electricity or heat. It is a renewable energy source, meaning it won't run out or harm the environment like fossil fuels do. We can capture solar energy using solar panels or solar cells, which are often placed on rooftops. Because the sun shines all over the world, solar energy can be a useful and eco-friendly way to meet our energy needs, helping to reduce pollution and combat climate change.
