In GCSE Physics, "transmission" refers to the process of energy, light, or sound waves passing through a material or moving from one place to another. When light is transmitted through a glass window, it means the light waves pass through the glass and come out on the other side. Similarly, when we talk about sound transmission, it involves sound waves travelling through air or another medium so we can hear them. Different materials can affect how well energy, light, or sound is transmitted; some materials let these waves pass through easily, while others may block or absorb them.
