
Lucey is an experienced teacher of Film and Media Studies and has been a Head of Film and Media at a school on the south coast for 15 years. Alongside her classroom experience she also holds a variety of roles at WJEC and EDUQAS including Principal Moderator, Principal Examiner and CPD writer and presenter.
Alongside school and exam board experience, Lucey has contributed to national discussions regarding media education and currently sits on the executive board for the Media Education Association and is part of the National Institute of Teaching’s expert working panel focussing on digital information literacy in Schools
Outside of work Lucey enjoys travelling with her family, photography, cooking and watching all sorts of films and TV, her favourite film director is Christopher Nolan and her favourite TV show of all time is Succession.
Lucey has contributed to the GCSE Media Studies textbook and has had teacher support resources published. She annual contributes to CPD training materials for several qualifications and supports teachers deliver film and media qualifications across a variety of contexts.
