A micrograph is an image taken using a microscope. Micrographs are used in biology to study objects or structures that are too small for the naked eye, such as cells and their components. By enlarging these tiny details, micrographs help scientists and students understand how living things work at a microscopic level. In GCSE Biology, micrographs are used to learn about cell structures and functions.
