In GCSE Chemistry, the term 'concentrated' refers to a solution that contains a large amount of a substance (solute) dissolved in a smaller amount of another substance (solvent). When a solution is concentrated, there is a high ratio of solute compared to the solvent, making the solution strong or dense with that material.
For example, if you have a concentrated sugar solution, it means there is a lot of sugar dissolved in a little water. Concentration is important because it affects how reactions proceed and how substances behave when mixed.
