
Amy has been writing content for Spanish and French at Save My Exams since 2025. She is a former MFL teacher and leader with over a decade of classroom experience as a teacher, head of department and head of faculty.
She holds a BA in European languages and an MA in translation, and is CELTA-qualified. She is particularly interested in applying evidence-informed research to subject-specific pedagogy and has also held roles as an ITT tutor, an assessor for NPQs in leading teaching and leading teacher development, and teacher educator.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys travelling, and is always keen to learn new languages - she is currently working on Arabic and Italian.

Expertise
As well as writing and editing language resources and online packages, Amy has worked with a number of organisations as an MFL educational consultant and advisor, and with exam boards to develop the new MFL GCSE qualifications. She recently designed the new MFL curriculum for a national ITT provider.
