
Hannah is an experienced educator and education consultant with a strong background in History, Politics, and Modern Studies. She has taught across secondary and senior exam cohorts, supporting students through high-stakes assessments and university preparation. Alongside classroom teaching, Hannah has held leadership and pastoral roles, including responsibility for careers guidance and UCAS applications.
Hannah has extensive experience working with awarding bodies and assessment design. She has worked with SQA for many years as a marker, team leader, qualifications development specialist, and event verifier across History, Modern Studies, and Politics. This gives her deep insight into exam standards, assessment criteria, and how students can maximise performance in written responses.
Alongside her work in education, Hannah is an experienced communicator and presenter. She has hosted educational podcasts, worked as a radio presenter, and delivers professional development for teachers and education professionals both in the UK and internationally.
Hannah is the author of How to Learn (2024), which explores the science of learning and practical strategies students can use to improve study effectiveness. She has also created a wide range of digital learning resources, courses, and training materials for schools, universities, and education organisations. Through her podcasts and online content, Hannah regularly explores historical and political themes and their relevance to the modern world.
