
Sarra has over two decades of experience teaching A Level Politics to thousands of students and has an absolute passion for this evolving and dynamic subject that changes daily!
She has been an examiner for over a decade, and continues to work currently as a senior examiner. She was a part of the team that wrote the Edexcel 2017 Politics Specification and delivers national conferences supporting students and teachers of A Level Politics. She has written extensively, writing numerous textbooks and revision guides.
Sarra continues to be a classroom teacher of Politics currently, but has previously been an Assistant Head (Head of Sixth Form), and held multiple middle leadership roles prior to this.
Beyond Politics, Sarra is a qualified careers adviser and loves supporting students through making post-16 and post-18 choices.

Sarra has published extensively for Hodder Education and Pearson, writing 14 textbooks, revision guides, unit guides and skill guides.
She has also written many articles for Politics Review on exams skills and content, most recently on the role and power of judicial review
Education:
Sarra graduated from University College London having studied History, before completing a PGCE at the University of Bath. She recently completed an MA in Careers Development and Guidance at the University of Derby
