With a decade-long career in education, Zoe has contributed significantly to the field. She joined Save My Exams in 2023, where she spearheaded the development of the company's History resources. Before this, Zoe served as a teaching assistant and later as a teacher, providing invaluable support to learners of all abilities.
As the Lead of Key Stage 4 History, Zoe showcases her expertise in the Edexcel GCSE syllabus. Her extensive research on the science of revision has led to the creation of innovative and effective study methods. Notably, Zoe's article on how to revise for GCSE History stands out as a testament to her commitment to student success.
From a young age, Zoe's passion for history has been unwavering. She firmly believes that understanding history is essential for comprehending the complexities of our ever-changing world. Zoe's dedication lies in crafting accessible content that simplifies key historical concepts, ensuring optimal preparation for exams.
In her spare time, Zoe enjoys staying active through fitness activities. She qualified as a Zumba instructor during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, Zoe has led Zumba sessions for various groups including primary school children, work colleagues and friends.

Zoe earned her first-class degree with honours in History from the Open University. She later completed her PGCE in Secondary Education at the University of Leicester.

While Zoe has experience teaching History at Key Stage 3, her specialisation lies in GCSE and A Level History. Her expertise predominantly centres around 20th Century History, particularly modern Russian History. This interest was ignited by an inspiring teacher during her A Level studies.
Known for her dynamic teaching style, Zoe has a knack for bringing history to life in the classroom. Whether it's leaping onto tables to illustrate the Battle of Hastings or creating engaging board games to teach topics like Medicine in Britain, Zoe's innovative approach captivates students and fosters a deeper understanding of historical events.
