Social objectives are goals a business sets to positively impact society and the community while conducting its operations. These objectives focus on contributing to societal welfare, such as supporting local charities, reducing environmental footprints, promoting equality and diversity, or enhancing employee well-being.

In GCSE Business, it is important to understand that social objectives go beyond making profits. They align a company's practices with ethical standards and community expectations, fostering goodwill and sustainable practices that can also benefit the business in the long run by improving its reputation and customer loyalty.
