Food security means having reliable access to enough nutritious and safe food for an active and healthy life. It involves making sure that food is available, that people have the means to obtain it, and that they know how to use it effectively to meet their dietary needs. It also includes stability, ensuring that food is regularly accessible and not disrupted by things like poor weather, conflicts, or economic issues. Understanding food security helps us learn about global challenges and the different ways people in the world get the food they need.
