In mathematics, product means multiplication.
For example, the product of 3, 4 and 5 is 60 (3 x 4 x 5).

The term is often used in asking other mathematical questions, where multiplication is only part of the problem. For example, expressing a number as a product of its prime factors (e.g. 18 = 2 x 3 x 3); expressing a quadratic as a product of linear factors (e.g. x squared minus 6 x plus 8 equals open parentheses x minus 4 close parentheses open parentheses x minus 2 close parentheses).
