Radiation is the process of energy moving from one place to another in the form of waves or particles. It comes in different types, such as light from the Sun or X-rays used in medicine. Radiation is all around us, sometimes visible like sunlight, and other times invisible, like microwaves or radio waves. It's important in many fields, from making electricity in nuclear power plants to treating cancer in hospitals. In physics, understanding radiation helps us learn about how energy travels and impacts the world around us.
