Posture - GCSE Psychology Definition

Posture refers to the way we hold our bodies when sitting, standing, or moving. It is an important part of non-verbal communication and can show our feelings, thoughts, and attitudes to others without us even having to speak. For example, standing tall with straight shoulders can show confidence, while slouching might suggest that someone is feeling tired or uninterested. In psychology, studying posture helps us understand how body language affects interactions with people and can influence social situations.
