Society is a term used to describe a group of people who live together in a community and follow the same rules and traditions. It includes families, friends, schools, and workplaces, all interacting and supporting each other. In GCSE Psychology, we study society to understand how people's behaviours, thoughts, and feelings are influenced by the groups they belong to. Society shapes how we think, how we act, and how we relate to others, highlighting the importance of social norms, roles, and structures in our everyday lives.
