Grace - GCSE Religious Studies Definition

In GCSE Religious Studies, "Grace" is commonly understood as an essential concept in Christian theology, referring to the unearned and generous favour or love that God bestows upon people. It signifies the divine assistance given to humans for their regeneration and sanctification, enabling them to overcome sin and live a righteous life. Grace is considered a gift from God that cannot be earned through good deeds but is given freely to all who believe and seek a relationship with God. In the Christian context, it is most vividly expressed through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, demonstrating God's willingness to forgive and transform believers through His mercy and love.
