Frequently Asked Questions

A GCSE PE exam is split into two parts: theory and physical. The theory side of the exam counts for 60% of your overall score, and covers your understanding of how the human body works. The physical side of your exam will test your ability in three different sports. This is worth 40% of your overall score.

If you think that GCSE PE will be an easy option, think again. The mix of scientific theory and physical work means you have to be both mentally and physically sharp to do well in your exam, with revision and practice required to achieve the higher marks.
