Community - GCSE Biology Definition

In GCSE Biology, a 'community' refers to all the different plants, animals, and other organisms that live together in a certain area or habitat. These organisms interact with each other and rely on one another for food, shelter, and other basic needs. A community includes different species that coexist in the same environment, like a forest, pond, or coral reef. These species form a web of relationships and help keep the ecosystem balanced and healthy. By studying communities, we learn how life forms are connected and how they affect each other's survival.
