A Local Area Network, or LAN, is a group of computers and other devices that are connected together in one small area, like a school, home, or office. This type of network allows the devices to share information and resources, such as files and printers, quickly and easily. LANs usually use cables or Wi-Fi to connect the devices and help them communicate with each other. By having a LAN in places like schools, students and teachers can access the internet, share documents, and use shared software applications efficiently, enhancing the overall learning and working experience.
