Mode - GCSE Psychology Definition

In GCSE Psychology, the term 'mode' refers to a measure of central tendency that identifies the most frequently occurring score in a set of data. It's a way to see which score appears the most often. For example, if you have numbers like 2, 3, 3, 4, and 5, the mode is 3 because it shows up more times than any other number.

The mode helps us understand what is common or typical in a set of information, which can be important when analysing data in psychology.
