Emotion is a strong feeling that people experience in response to events or situations. It can include happiness, sadness, anger, fear, surprise, or disgust. Emotions affect how we think and behave, and they often show in our body language or facial expressions.

In psychology, studying emotions helps us understand why people act the way they do and how they connect with others. Emotions play a big role in our everyday lives because they guide our reactions and interactions with the world around us.
