The stress of studying is over––now it’s time to celebrate! Whether you’re over the moon with your A Level results or just relieved that your exams are behind you, you deserve a reward.
And it just so happens that tons of popular chains across the UK offer special freebies and discounts to A Level students on results day.
Whether you’re getting ready to go to uni or you’re heading straight into the world of work, results day is a time to reflect on your achievements and enjoy a well deserved treat.
With that in mind, we’ve done the hard work for you and have sourced all the best deals and free stuff you can get on A Level results day 2025.
A Level results day freebies
Thousands of students will collect their A Level results this summer on Thursday 14th August 2025.
With so much focus on collecting your results from sixth form or college, it’s easy to forget about how the rest of the day will pan out. I remember being so preoccupied with whether I’d secured my university place or not that I completely neglected to think about how I’d spend the rest of the day!
It’s a great idea to have a plan in place, so that you have something to look forward to regardless of the grades you get.
And with these results day freebies and discounts, you and your loved ones can celebrate over a tasty meal for a fraction of the usual price (or in some cases, completely free of charge!)
This year’s results day freebies haven’t yet been announced, so we’ve checked out some of the most recent A Level results day deals to give you an idea of what to expect. Revisit this article on results day for live updates.

A Level freebies with no purchase required
Wagamama
Japanese-inspired chain Wagamama launched its first ever A Level results day freebie last year, so fingers crossed we’ll see another this year.
With no purchase required, students were able to bag themselves a free side and drink. The only requirement was for students to sign up to Wagamama’s loyalty programme, Soul Club, and to show your results.
Where The Pancakes Are
Based in London and fancy something sweet this results day? If last year is anything to go by, we can expect another sweet deal from Where The Pancakes Are.
This dreamy London spot offers a free Doughlicious dessert when you show your A Level results––with absolutely no purchase required.
We're talking a warm, cinnamon-chocolate cookie loaded with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. If you're 18 or over, you can also enjoy a free glass of Prosecco or Mimosa.
Gordon Ramsay’s Street Pizza (Southwark)
Last year, Gordon Ramsay’s Street Pizza offered potentially one of the best A Level results day freebies we’ve ever seen. 75 minutes of bottomless pizza, completely free of charge and with no purchase required.
Unfortunately, it was limited to the Southwark branch of the chain. Let’s hope it’ll be rolled out nationally this year… Stay tuned for live updates on results day.
Byron Burgers
Another generous freebie can be found at Byron Burgers. Get your hands on a free Proper Burger from their main menu, no purchase needed.
Whether you’re into classic beef, crispy chicken or a juicy vegan option, you can expect big flavours and zero cost. Just bring your results and your appetite.
Three Cheers Pub Co.
If you’re 18+ and in South London, swing by any Three Cheers pub with your A Level results and claim a free drink. Choose from a pint of Amstel, a glass of wine, a house spirit and mixer or a soft drink.
Bird & Blend Tea Co.
If pubs aren’t your scene, you’ll be pleased to hear Bird & Blend Tea also offer a great results day freebie.
Not every celebration needs to be loud––sometimes a free tea does the job. Show your A Level results at Bird & Blend and get any drink from their summer menu for free. Think tropical iced teas, creamy matcha lattes and creative brews you won’t find anywhere else.
Frankie & Benny’s
Frankie & Benny’s has previously offered A Level students a free Margherita pizza and a regular soft drink on results day, with no additional purchase necessary. If you’re in the mood for some comforting Italian food, just present your results slip to enjoy this classic combo.
A Level freebies with a minimum spend
Nando’s
Nando’s has a tradition of rewarding students on results day, and we expect this year will be no different.
By spending £7 or more and presenting your A Level results and student ID, you can enjoy a free ¼ chicken or starter. Who doesn’t love a Nando’s?
Chiquito
Turn up the flavour at Chiquito this results day. Just buy a large soft drink and show your exam results to score a free plate of Loaded Nachos, with a topping choice of Chicken & Chorizo or Pibil Pulled Jackfruit. We’ll never turn down free nachos…
Bill’s
At Bill’s, students can sweeten their results day by receiving a free dessert when ordering a main meal. Simply show your A Level results and student ID to indulge in a treat, such as their famous triple chocolate brownie or mini cinnamon donuts.
Wildwood
Get cosy and carb-happy at Wildwood. Spend £7 and show your A Level results to enjoy a free garlic rosemary bread, margherita pizza or spaghetti pomodoro. This offer is perfect if you want a casual but tasty celebration without blowing your budget.
Banana Tree
Pan-Asian flavours and freebies? Yes please. Last year, Banana Tree offered A Level students a free pad thai (either chicken or tofu) when they bought a starter and a drink. All they had to do was sign up online for a voucher and then present their results.
If the same offer applies this year, we’ll be sure to update this offer with a link to the voucher.
Pizza Express
On A Level Results Day 2024, Pizza Express offered students a complimentary portion of their iconic Dough Balls when dining in. To claim this treat, students needed to present their A Level results slip alongside a valid UNiDAYS code.
This offer was available with the purchase of a main course and could be combined with Pizza Express' standard 25% student discount––not bad.
The Ivy Collection
In the mood for something a little fancier to really mark this momentous occasion? Last year, The Ivy offered A Level students a complimentary glass of The Ivy Champagne and a special celebratory menu when they dined in.
TGI Fridays
Each results day, TGI Fridays offers a generous discount for students celebrating their A Level results. In 2023, they offered 23% off the total food bill, last year they offered 24% off, so it’s only fair to assume that this year students will be able to enjoy a whopping 25% off.
To claim this offer, download the TGI Fridays Stripes Rewards app and show your results slip when ordering.
Bella Italia
In need of some delicious comfort food this results day? Bella Italia provides a generous 30% discount to students all year long from Sundays to Thursdays, including A Level results day. To access this offer, complete their online form to receive your discount code. It's perfect for a celebratory Italian meal with family or friends.
Showcase Cinemas
If you want to celebrate your A Level results by kicking back and watching the latest blockbuster, make sure to take advantage of Showcase Cinema’s results day freebie. Simply purchase your film ticket, show your results, and you’ll get a medium popcorn to enjoy completely free of charge.
Starbucks
Last year, Starbucks treated students to a free cookie when they purchased a beverage of their choice and presented their results. A simple but tasty treat.
How to claim your A Level results day freebies
Wondering how to make sure you don’t miss out on the best results day freebies and deals? Here are our top tips.
Follow restaurants on social media
Follow your favourite chain restaurants and eateries on social media to catch any last minute deals or changes. Restaurants can often leave it quite late to announce their results day offers, but this is one of the first places you’ll find them.
Bring necessary documents
Always have your results slip, student ID and proof of age on hand to verify your eligibility. The proof of age is particularly important if you’re hoping to take advantage of one of the free alcoholic drinks on offer.
Download apps/join loyalty programmes in advance
To redeem some of these A Level results day freebies, you’ll need to be a member of the chain’s loyalty programme or rewards scheme.
Or it might just be a case of having to download their app. Whatever the requirements, make sure you complete any downloads in advance so you don’t have to do it on the day.
Check terms and conditions
Some offers may have specific requirements or be limited to certain times or locations. Make sure to check out the terms and conditions on the restaurant’s website. There may be a small minimum spend required in order to claim your freebie.
Plan ahead
Decide which places you'd like to visit and consider making reservations if possible, as results day can be busy. For restaurants that don’t take bookings (Nando’s for example), consider going at times that may be a little less busy to avoid queuing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I get results day freebies if I didn’t get the grades I wanted?
Absolutely. A Level results day deals aren’t just for students who smashed their exams––they’re for everyone. Whether you’re celebrating top marks or trying to come to terms with a tough set of results, the goal is to give you something to smile about. A free burger, some bottomless pizza or a refreshing drink is still yours to claim.
And if things didn’t go to plan, you're not alone. There’s lots of support available, from university clearing to retake options. But for today, let yourself enjoy a well-earned treat.
Do I need to show my results to claim the offers?
In most cases, yes. Most restaurants will want to see proof that you're a student collecting A Level results. We recommend bringing your results slip, student ID and photo ID (especially if you’re claiming anything alcoholic). If you received your results online, a digital copy or email confirmation should be enough. Just check the terms on each venue’s website before heading out.
