Education and Work

Eleanor is a Trainee Clinical Scientist working in the NHS and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Clinical Science. She holds a BSc in Biological Sciences from Durham University and has experience teaching GCSE and A-level Chemistry and Biology. Having completed the AQA A-level Chemistry curriculum herself, she understands the demands of the subject and enjoys making challenging topics clear and accessible to students.

Teaching Experience

Eleanor has supported over 1,600 students within her tutoring organisation focused on Chemistry and Biology. She has also taught science directly in both primary and secondary schools, giving her experience working with students of different ages and abilities. Her teaching focuses on building strong subject knowledge while helping students develop the confidence to apply what they have learned.

Student Success

Eleanor has supported students across GCSE and A-level Chemistry and Biology, helping them strengthen their understanding of key concepts and prepare effectively for exams. She particularly enjoys breaking down complex topics into simple, clear explanations and helping students become more confident in tackling challenging questions.
