Head of Science
Education and Teaching Experience
- Francesca studied a BSc in Chemistry with Forensic Science at Keele University, followed by an MBA in Senior Leadership. Since then, she has taught A Level Chemistry in the UK for over 10 years and has held a number of roles, including Head of Chemistry, Head of Science and most recently Assistant Headteacher.
Examining Experience
- Francesca has worked as an examiner for a range of UK exam boards, including AQA GCSE, AQA A Level, OCR A A Level and Edexcel.
Published Work
- Francesca has co-authored a number of student textbooks and teacher guides for Science subjects, including the Cambridge Lower Secondary Science course.
Student and Teacher Success
- Francesca has used her passion for education to drive improvement and success for staff and students across a number of subjects in addition to Science, supporting them to achieve their full potential. She has delivered various CPD for teachers, including how to empower students to achieve A/A* grades, after some of her classes achieved 100% A/A* in their A level Chemistry.
