Victoria Burton is a former secondary school English teacher, lead practitioner in literacy and GCSE examiner who now specialises in writing about education.
After spending over 15 years working in schools, with roles including teaching, leading departments and developing whole-school reading strategies, Victoria took the leap and left the classroom behind to establish her own copywriting and SEO content business.
Today, she works with universities, education organisations, EdTech companies and creative agencies, creating digital content, messaging strategies and promotional materials that help them connect with students, parents, teachers, school leaders and education marketers.
As a parent of teenagers navigating GCSEs and university, Victoria also has plenty of first-hand experience of the highs, lows and occasional dramas of growing up in the UK education system – this time from the other side of the classroom!
Passionate about literature, pedantic about spelling and punctuation, and a lifelong lover of learning, Victoria is committed to helping young people feel confident, supported and inspired to achieve their potential.
