  • Define the Avogadro constant.

    The Avogadro constant (NA) is 6.02 x 1023 mol-1. It is the number of particles (atoms, molecules, ions or electrons) in one mole of a substance.

    Mass = 23.0 + 35.5 = 58.5 g mol-1. The molar mass is found by summing the relative atomic masses of all atoms in the formula unit.
