If asked to describe how PCB lacquering or lubrication is carried out, examiners want the physical process, not just the benefit. An answer that only states why a finish is used (e.g. "it reduces friction") scores zero on a 6-mark "describe how" question.
Instead you need to name the equipment and each stage: for PCB lacquering, masking, then spraying, brushing or dipping before curing; for lubrication, applying the correct lubricant at the specific moving part (bearing, gear or pivot) in the required amount.
