Hobbies and free time
To talk about your hobbies, you need to be able to:
ask about what people do in their free time
say what you enjoy and don't enjoy doing in your free time and why
use the adjective ulubiony- to talk about favourite things

Some useful words and phrases you'll need for the topic of hobbies are:
Co lubisz robić w wolnym czasie? What do you like doing in your free time?

Hobby is not on the official AQA vocabulary list, however, it is a very useful word for this unit

In Polish you use the adjective ulubiony / ulubiona / ulubione / ulubieni / ulubione, before a noun, which changes its form depending on the gender and number of the noun

ulubione hobby – favourite hobby
ulubiony sport – favourite sport

Examiner Tips and Tricks
It is important to practise using vocabulary in context
From the lists above, say or write three sentences about your hobbies - include what you do, how often, and what you think of it
Try using a negative too: Nie lubię gotować, bo to jest nudne. I don't like cooking because it is boring.
