To talk about music, cinema and TV in Polish, there are three key areas of grammar to know:
using ulubiony / ulubiona / ulubione to talk about your favourite things
key verbs in the present, past and future tenses

Music cinema and TV: Adjectives
In Polish, the adjective ulubiony means favourite
Its form changes depending on the gender of the noun

plural (moje) | Moje ulubione książki to kryminały. | My favourite books are crime novels. |
Mój changes to Moja and Moje depending on the gender and number of the noun.

These four verbs are essential for talking about music, cinema and TV

Key verbs: past and future tenses

The table below shows the ja form – the same pattern applies to the other pronouns

In Polish, the past tense is formed by adding endings to the verb. The ending changes depending on the gender of the speaker:
-łem → masculine (e.g. oglądałem)
-łam → feminine (e.g. oglądałam)
The future tense of most imperfective verbs is formed with the auxiliary verb być (będę, będziesz, będzie...) followed by the infinitive:
będę oglądać
będę czytać
będę słuchać
będę grać
The past tense is expressed with a single verb form (e.g. czytałem, słuchałam)

In Polish, adjectives change their form to agree with the gender of the noun they describe
Film jest świetny. – The film is great. (masculine)
Piosenka jest świetna. – The song is great. (feminine)
Przedstawienie jest świetne. – The show is great. (neuter)
