Combining gdyby with the conditional
The conditional: full form
In Polish, the full conditional is built using:
A past tense verb (zrobił / zrobiła / poszedł / była / miał / miała)
A conditional particle by attached to the verb(–bym, –byś, –by, –byśmy, –byście)
Together they create the meaning of “would + verb” in English
Full forms of the conditional endings. These endings attach to the past tense verb:
